Stylishly decorated in Old Savannah Brick, with gas-lit lamps, this hotel provides warm, comfortable accommodations. The shopping mecca of River Street and City Market are a short walk from our hotel.
Rooms are $154.00+ tax per night Sunday through Thursday with either one king or two double beds. In-room amenities include coffeemakers, irons, hair dryers, work desks, free high-speed internet access, and cable TV. A breakfast buffet is included, as well as complimentary beverages, an exercise room and outdoor pool. Onsite parking is $15.00 per day. Numerous restaurants are within walking distance.The airport express bus drops off across the street from the hotel.
Those selected are strongly encouraged to reside with the group at the Hampton Inn & Suites. The location, comfortable lobby and guest rooms, accommodating staff and spacious conference room are well suited for our workshop and will help to create a Gullah Voices community. To reduce costs, we encourage sharing rooms; this will be facilitated by the workshop coordinator.
